More & Nexnor Pro
Privacy
Nexnor stores your content on your device and – only if you use sync – in your private iCloud. This page summarises where your data is kept. It does not replace the privacy policy.
Where your data is kept #
- On your device: Nexnor stores documents, notes, text documents and tasks locally. Without Nexnor Pro they don’t leave the device.
- In your private iCloud: If you use iCloud sync with Pro, your content is stored encrypted in your private iCloud database, which only you can access.
- No account, no tracking: Nexnor needs no account of its own and uses no tracking, no advertising and no third-party analytics.
- Purchases: Apple handles purchases and subscriptions. Nexnor receives no payment or account details, only confirmation that Pro is active.
NoteNexnor schedules reminder notifications locally on the device. A log for Support is only created when you export and share it yourself, see Log for Support.
What happens only on your device #
- Text recognition: Nexnor recognises the text of scanned pages right on the device.
- Descriptions with Apple Intelligence: Apple Intelligence processes the content right on the device; no data is uploaded. Descriptions are stored only on this device and aren’t synced. See Descriptions.
- Search: Nexnor builds the search index for PDF text only on the device.
- Spotlight: So you can also find documents and tasks in the system search, Nexnor adds titles and text to this device’s Spotlight index. Content in the Trash is removed from it again; tapping a result opens it in Nexnor.
- Attachments: Original files you add to content through the share extension are listed under “Original Files” and are not part of the PDF export. With Nexnor Pro, files up to 250 MB sync through your private iCloud; larger ones stay on the device.
NoteNexnor only loads images from the internet if you allow them in a Markdown document with “Allow Web Images”.
