Trash

Deleted files, text documents and folders go to the Trash first. From there you can restore them or delete them permanently.

Deleting #

Choose “Delete” in a file’s … menu or in a folder’s menu and confirm; the message tells you that the file or folder and its contents go to the Trash and can be restored there. To delete several items, use “Select” › “Delete”.

A deleted file moves to the Trash and its tab in the workspace closes. A folder moves to the Trash together with all its files and subfolders. For text documents, Nexnor saves any open changes first.

NoteWhile a file is in the Trash, it doesn’t appear under “Favorites” and “Recently Opened”. When you restore it, it is back in both; only deleting it permanently removes it from them.

Restoring and deleting permanently #

Open “Trash” in Files. It lists deleted folders under “Folders”, text documents under “Text documents” and all other files under “Contents”. Each row shows when the item was last modified (“Modified … ago”); Nexnor doesn’t show a deletion date. When it is empty, it says “Trash Is Empty”.

Tap the … icon next to an item and choose “Restore”. The item returns to its previous location – a folder with all its contents.

“Delete Permanently” in the same menu removes a single item after the confirmation “Delete Permanently?”. “Empty Trash” at the top removes everything currently in the Trash after the confirmation “Empty trash permanently?”.

CautionPermanently deleted files and folders can’t be restored. All tasks belonging to the document are deleted as well.
