Home

“Home” is your overview for the day: the next important task, what’s due today and the documents you worked on most recently.

Device

Overview #

Under the heading “Make today count”, “Home” shows up to five cards: “Up Next”, “Today”, “Continue Working”, “Recently Opened” and “Favorites”. Nexnor hides cards that have nothing to show.

Everything here leads somewhere with one tap: tasks open “Tasks”, documents open the Workspace, folders open “Files”.

NoteIf there are no tasks, nothing to continue working on and no favorites, “Your cockpit becomes personal” appears – for example after you’ve deleted the sample data.
On iPadOn wide screens the task cards are on the left and the document cards on the right.

Up Next #

The coloured card at the top shows the one task you should deal with next. The line above it gives the reason, for example “Overdue · Up Next” or “Today · Up Next”; overdue tasks are coloured red and orange. Below are the due date and the related document.

Tap the circle on the left to complete the task. Tap the text and Nexnor shows the task in “Tasks”.

  • Touch and hold opens a menu with “Open in Document”, “Show in Tasks” and “Pin as Up Next”.
  • Pin as Up Next: The task stays at the top until you complete it or choose “Unpin” – in the menu or with the pin icon on the card. Only main tasks can be pinned.
  • All Done: When no task is open, the card shows “All Done”.
NoteIf the task has open subtasks, Nexnor asks before completing it. See Completing subtasks.

Today #

The “Today” card lists up to five tasks due today; their number is shown at the top right. Complete a task with its circle or tap the row to see it in “Tasks”.

At the bottom, “Open in Tasks” takes you to “Tasks”; if there are more than five, the item reads “Show All …”. When nothing is due, the card shows “Nothing due today.”

Continue Working, Recently Opened and Favorites #

  • Continue Working shows the document you opened last, with its page count. A tap opens it in the Workspace; Nexnor remembers on this device where you were in a document.
  • Recently Opened shows other recently used documents as tiles you can scroll sideways.
  • Favorites (with a star) collects PDFs and notes you marked as “Favorite” in Files and folders you added with “Add to Favorites”. A document opens in the Workspace, a folder in Files.
TipHow to make documents and folders favourites is explained under Quick access.
